\u201cToday, we are faced with many challenges.  Some of those are: seeing human dignity<\/strong> in the faces of the poor<\/strong>, the migrant <\/strong>and the elderly<\/strong>; seeing our responsibility for many of whom live in abject poverty; seeing our responsibility for educating our children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So long as one, marginalized human being<\/strong> is considered a \u201cproblem\u201d to be solved, we will continue to experience division and an absence of peace<\/strong>. Not even our brightest minds know how to put the world back together again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

But every single one of us knows what the face of the human person looks like. If we get that right, we stand a far better chance of getting other things right, as well.  The time has come for our civilization to evolve<\/strong> from a competitive, scarcity and local mindset, to a collaborative and global mindset<\/strong>. The  time has come for us to deeply listen, further educate ourselves, and take new levels of empathetic action. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We often write about innovative thinking, optimism<\/strong>, problem-solving<\/strong> and global mindsets<\/strong> but the events of the past weeks have shown us the extraordinary pain and collective anguish. Discrimination, prejudice, and violence can not and will not be ignored!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have often taken a non-political stance, focusing on the proliferation of entrepreneurial mindset<\/strong> and sustainable innovation <\/strong>independent of political whims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, this is no longer a political issue. It is a moral one. One that stands at the core of our shared humanity<\/strong>, our ability to lift each other up as we pursue a future<\/strong> that is hopeful, positive, just and sustainable for all.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conversation and education is power<\/strong>.  And now, more than ever, learning and having open conversations both at home and work about racism and social justice is critical<\/strong>. We are not born racists, we are taught that way and it is our role to change the ways we educate our children. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We must realize the potential and possibility, the interrelated and overlapping ethical streams, the value of different ways of being and knowing, the profound skepticism we should give our own efforts, and the chance to bring people together peaceably, equitably, respectfully.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our efforts must be rooted in the reality<\/strong> we have, but visionary<\/strong> in terms of imagining then creating a better tomorrow<\/strong> that more robustly recognizes all people equally<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are on the way and different people will serve different ways. As engineers developing sustainable buildings, as editors allowing  voices to be heard<\/strong>,  as teachers, as writers, philosophers, making sure peace, justice, and diverse cultures are part of the curriculum and writtings, we will work toward it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will address specific problems. This is where the ideas are transformed into impulse, action and positive impact<\/strong>. Let us moove into the business of healing and reparing injustice. We can not do it without you! Joins us into shaping a Better Future <\/u><\/a>and Building a better Humanity!\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019impact de la mort de Georges Floyd et le mouvement de mobilisation Black Lives Matter<\/strong> nous rappelle deux choses, le refus de l\u2019injustice et de la discrimination<\/strong> ainsi que le besoin de sens, d\u2019identit\u00e9, d\u2019appartenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blanc et Noir ce mouvement l\u2019est, comme un pav\u00e9 mosa\u00efque. Il doit trouver son \u00e9quilibre dans l\u2019universalisme de son message qui sera le garant de son impact soci\u00e9tal positif<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

En effet, ce mouvement, est in\u00e9vitablement porteur des frustrations, r\u00e9voltes<\/strong>, mouvements de replis communautaires, rejets des institutions, de la police, et amalgames divers propices au chaos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C\u2019est \u00e9galement un \u00e9lan de fraternit\u00e9, de solidarit\u00e9, de refus de la discrimination et d\u2019espoir qui transcende les communaut\u00e9s<\/strong>. Il est b\u00e9n\u00e9fique quand ses messages sont ceux de justice, d\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 entre les hommes, de dignit\u00e9<\/strong>, et d\u2019unit\u00e9 humaine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

N\u2019oublions jamais que nous ne sommes qu\u2019une terre, qu\u2019un peuple, qu\u2019une Humanit\u00e9<\/strong>. Pour cela nous devons chercher \u00e0 \u0153uvrer ensemble, \u00e0 construire un monde (en) commun, le Notre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
