{"id":9997,"date":"2018-02-19T12:12:31","date_gmt":"2018-02-19T11:12:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/b1-akt.com\/?p=9997"},"modified":"2018-02-19T13:11:03","modified_gmt":"2018-02-19T12:11:03","slug":"b1-akt-report-on-rapid-sustainable-migrant-holistic-integration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/b1-akt.com\/FR\/b1-akt-report-on-rapid-sustainable-migrant-holistic-integration\/","title":{"rendered":"B1-AKT Report on RAPID &#038; SUSTAINABLE MIGRANT HOLISTIC INTEGRATION"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column width=\u00a0\u00bb1\/1&Prime;][vc_column_text]<a href=\"http:\/\/b1-akt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/2018-02-19-Report-migrant-integration-solutions-short-version-B1-AKT-Yannick-Le-Guern-Laura-Petrache.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">2018-02-19 Report migrant integration solutions short version B1-AKT Yannick Le Guern Laura Petrache<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>MIGRANT INTEGRATION LAB<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00ab\u00a0A sustainable solution to a world-wide crisis\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this report is to serve as a guide for national and international integration governments, actors and facilitators, policy makers, to turn a crisis into a societal, economic, cultural and sustainable development advantage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This report is based on<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The description of a holistic device of <strong>migrants*<\/strong> sustainable integration designed &amp; created by B1-AKT<\/li>\n<li>Practical integration experiments in 7 countries,<\/li>\n<li>Feedback, evaluation and international benchmark as to extract efficient integration practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>This report is the fruit of \u201cMigrant Integration Lab\u201d device experimentation <\/strong>and it is based on a collaborative approach, by bringing together <strong>diverse stakeholders<\/strong> that represent refugee communities, academic institutions, private and state institutions, entrepreneurs and investors who are co-creating an enabling environment to develop tangible and sustainable solutions, <strong>responding to the multidimensional challenges of migrant crisis<\/strong>, helping in effect to <strong>build inclusive communities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Europe has a mixed and not very encouraging record on integrating immigrants, both socially and economically. This dates from when the volume of arrivals was more manageable. <strong>Lessons must be drawn<\/strong> from those shortcomings. At the same time, national and local authorities must grapple with very immediate problems of relocating, housing, employing and in some cases educating newcomers. France\u2019s responses have to date been focused far <strong>more on burden-sharing<\/strong> than on how to <strong>resolve <\/strong>these <strong>integration challenges<\/strong>. On top of this, there is the<strong> &lsquo; security&rsquo; dimension of the crisis<\/strong>. An equally significant issue is the absence of <strong>longer-term thinking and sustainability issues.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Our recommendations, good ideas, sustainable solutions for turning the refugee and economic migrant crisis<\/strong> to France\u2019s and Europe&rsquo;s advantage:<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"759\"><strong>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Creating a 3 steps efficient &amp; holistic process of sustainable integration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Step One:\u00a0 A global process of integration<\/p>\n<p>Step Two: \u00a0Professionalizing and training the main stake-holders and integration facilitators.<\/p>\n<p>Step Three: Steering the integration ecosystem for a better coordination of actions &amp; stakeholders<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>View Migration as a chance for France and Europe\u2018s economic growth, territory revitalization and Provide Sustainable Frameworks to strengthen communities <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Develop of a \u201cpre\u201d and \u201cpost-employment\u201d mentoring toolkit and Provide accurate migrant skills profiling and labor market needs assessment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Strengthen entrepreneurial education and training (entrepreneurship friendly environment for both migrants and native \u2013born population) and help migrant entrepreneurs through access to credit <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Acknowledge the benefits of immigration by crafting a positive, new narrative on integration:\u00a0 Developing sustainable communities and intercultural dialogue<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Rethink Migration from the perspective of Movement and Create transnational frameworks and policies <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Provide dialogic teaching, tailored services and centered learning sessions for Newcomers &amp; vulnerable groups<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Make it Sustainable <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Our response: Migrant Integration Lab<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0The \u201cMigrant Integration Lab\u201d device was designed by B1-AKT and implemented already in 7 countries.
